Although the question is very broad, there are some tips I would like to share with you. These helped me, after the guidance of almighty God, to graduate with First Class.
First, you have to realize that nothing is impossible. Many people would tell you that you should be intelligent to earn a First Class degree, but it has nothing to do with intelligence, at least partly. Try to plan your day and revise your studies on a daily basis. It may seem difficult to stick to a plan, but it is really a very cheap price you need to sacrifice for a long-term success.
Second, keep yourself motivated. Stress and frustration are enemies to your academic success. So, socialize sometime and enjoy some hours of your weekend.
Third, always make good friends who lift you up. Stay away from those who bring you down. Although you should not assume that a friend is bad because of a one-day mistake, discouraging people are well known by their negative thoughts and getting you discouraged.
Fourth, although this may seem weird and less connected to academic success, calling my parents and family regularly gives me a sort of happiness and motivation I can’t describe.
Remember that you are always the only one who can change what you want to be. It is you who can decide whether to change yourself to the best or to stay at lower stages of life. Take on difficult tasks, which seem uncomfortable now, but pays off in the long run.
