I am glad to know that there are people who actually think of career options once they graduate instead of just jumping in the aimless rat race.
A wise course of action after your B.COM (or when you are in 3rd year) is to analyse industries that has potential to harness your capabilities. You should take up jobs in your faivoured industry and see how well you fit in. Probably then think of studying a professional course to advance in your career.
It is a usual practice for most students to take up each and every course thats popular thinking they are strengthening their career. Merely collecting degreesdoes not take you anywhere in life, its what you make out of yourself during the course of your professional studies sets you apart from the rest.
Take up internships/jobs for at least 1-2 years. You may not get an extremely well paying job but you’ll gain perspective about industries, your aspirations and most importantly your’ll have a clear vision about your future.
Look out what kind of work you’ll like to do according to your personality and life values: Marketing, Finance, Accounting, Law, Banker, Data analysis, consultancy, legal advice, management, research etc
Research about which industry attracts you the most: Heath, E-commerce, Manufacturing, FMCGs, Automobile, Stock Market etc
Study your comprehensive analysis and start applying for jobs. Recruiters always look for applicants who have a focus and know where they want to reach in life.
Best of luck!
